Ruth Elisa’s work sits at the intersection of financial wellness and emotional healing. Drawing from her own lived experience navigating poverty, foster care, and single motherhood, she brings deep empathy and cultural competence to every session. Ruth Elisa has designed and delivered financial education programs for youth programs, women in recovery, and underserved families, often in partnership with state agencies, workforce boards, and healthcare providers.
In this therapy-integrated setting, Ruth collaborates with licensed mental health professionals to help clients confront the emotional roots of financial stress such as shame, scarcity, and inherited money trauma. Her approach combines practical tools like budgeting and credit repair with behavioral coaching, empowering clients to rewrite their financial narratives and build confidence in their decision-making.

She is certified in Credit Counseling, Health Literacy, and Program Evaluation, and has led equity-centered initiatives that increased access to financial education for BIPOC and immigrant communities. Whether facilitating a group workshop or offering one-on-one coaching, Ruth’s mission is clear: to dismantle generational poverty through healing-centered financial empowerment.
